John first would like to thank every Knight and Team member and their FAMILIES for allowing their family member to give up their valuable time and talents to help grow the Knights of Columbus, the Fourth Degree and especially for always remembering our Military. As the Master of the Second District of New Jersey, John was humbled by the enthusiasm that he saw from not just the men but by their families and he is very thankful for sharing these wonderful men with he and his Team. He also thanks everyone who helped with the idea of holding aboard the Battleship New Jersey, an Exemplification which had never been done before in the 100 year history of the Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus in honor of our Veterans twice. Supreme still talks about it and has tried several times to duplicate it but has not been successful.John thanks every man for stepping up to the plate no matter how difficult or strange an idea may have been, you bought into it, including 2 1/2 years during the COVID-19.
FINALLY! John thanks his family for sharing the workload in the background for everything that they did that you, the membership very seldom saw. Helping put Exemplification packages together, staying up late, taking numerous phone calls and giving directions to a place or information to FNs, FCs, CCCs and to the membership. Driving long distances when I forgot a prop, the many lists or Exemplification fruit platters for the ladies, desserts or cakes. It was truly a family affair at the Brandon house. We would not have it any other way!
