Patriot of the Year 2022-2023

Patriotic, Catholic Brothers in Central New Jersey

The Assemblies of Bishop Griffin and Bishop Ahr met on June 11, 2023 at the Country Club to celebrate our Patriots of the Year. Two very worthy men were selected for this honor.

Next we honored Past Presidents of the Chapters:

SK Tom Voorhees presented the plaques to SK Jeff Sellner and SK Bill O’Connor (from Bishop Griffin Assembly).

Here is the list of awardees for the event:

SK Peter Pfister from Bishop Griffin Assembly accepted Sir Knight of the Year 2022-2023 award from Faithful Navigator Richard Gavila.

Next, the past Faithful Navigators of Bishop Griffin Assembly received a plaque to commemorate their service to the Assembly. SK Vito and SK Tom had received their plaques at a previous occasion. Here, PFN Joseph Prykanowski receives his plaque.

Next, the Bishop Ahr Assembly recognized and thanked the Past Faithful Navigators with a commemorative plaque.

Next, our new Sir Knights were knighted by our District Master John Brandon assisted by our State Deputy James Stoever.

Congratulations to all of our Sir Knights from 2022-2023 Columbian Year. In attendance were SK John Zubrick from Bishop Ahr, SK Perry Straley, SK Robert Maguire, Al Garcia, and Gerald Ely from Bishop Griffin.

Finally, during the 50/50 drawing, the winner was Marilyn LeCerff and her husband Greg. They graciously donated the $300 winnings back to our State Deputy Jim Stoever for Send a Hero Home.
